Well, I haven’t had it myself personally, but a lot of friends swear by it, and are glad that they got it. My brother got it India through India Health Guru Consultants, and he said it was great Lasik eye surgery helped millions of people to be able to see, without the help of contacts and glasses. It will help you too, but make sure you get the right doctor for the procedure. After the surgery, one feels mild discomfort or pain for a couple of days. The procedure itself is not painful because they give you anaesthetic drops to numb the eye. For the first week, one may have sensitivity to light as blurry vision and dry eyes. All these side effects disappear within a few days and. The process is simple, safe and fast. They are making big improvements in this field, so it’s probably worth it if you can afford it and don’t need to use your eyes for a few days

In the USA, a screening is required to be free. You’ll find out IF you’re a good candidate and how much it will cost. Mine could have been $699 but I opted for a plan that includes enhancements at no extra charge. There is a minimum cornea thickness but I can’t remember what it is 720microns maybe? In my pre op research, I found that a lot of doctors push the limits in order to get the customer. When a candidate has insufficient cornea thickness, the result can be horribly bad. Web MD has a video that dwells more on procedures gone wrong than those that turned out well. As for me, I did have a complication because of my dry eyes. Its been a year and a half and I see with 20/15 acuity and a minor (nuisance) halo at night. Its not terrible, just noticeable.

Don’t do it- its expensive, complications can occur (some of them permanent) and you could still end up with glasses later.
